The Isle of Man is very pet friendly, with plenty of dog walking spots and outdoor space to roam around. Whether it’s our hills or glens, beaches or forests there’s always somewhere for you and your four-legged friend to explore.
Port Erin village is a dog friendly place with plenty of local shops accepting dogs. As well as the Pet Shop just across the road, there is a local vets.
The beach is right outside the hotel and there are a number of lovely walks that start from Port Erin. Visit our Walking page for details of our local walks.

Local Dog friendly walks and amenities
Port Erin Beach

Dogs are allowed on Port Erin beach, with restricted times in the summer season. Please visit Port Erin Commissioners to find the regulations.
The promenade runs adjacent to the beach and is the start of a number of lovely walks from the town.
Port Erin Pets

Pet shop and Dog Groomers on Station Road, just up the road from Falcon's Nest Hotel. Everything under one roof for the pet in your life including Pet Food, treats, toys and bedding.
Gansey Bay

Gansey Bay is dog friendly beach and there are no dog restrictions.
It is a good sized sandy beach within the Bay ny Carrickey and just to the east of Port St Mary.
It is about 1 1/4 miles / 2km or around a half hour walk from the hotel.
Port St Mary Harbour Beach

Port St Mary Harbour beach is a small rock and pebble beach within the lee of the pier. Dogs are allowed and there are no restrictions on dogs.
The harbour is around 1 1/4 miles / 2km or about a half hour walk from the hotel.
