Much improved restaurant.

We went for Sunday Lunch. The staff are very friendly and helpful... the quality is excellent and the price is so reasonable that it questions how they can make a profit... we were sat near the lovely open fire.

In general it was a lovely Sunday lunchtime experience and we very highly recommend it.

Nice carvery meal at reasonable prices

A large group of us, visiting from all over the uk and also from the island, descended on the Falcons nest on the Sunday of a weekend visit for joint birthday celebrations.

The food was in the form of a carvery which we all enjoyed. It... was excellent value for money. The staff were attentive, friendly and very efficient. We will certainly return there next time we are in Port Erin.

Nice Sunday carvery in lovely dining room

Recently whilst on holiday in iom we went to the falcon hotel in port Erin for the Sunday carvery meal. This is very popular... and we're lucky enough to be accommodated even though we had not pre booked.

There was a choice of 3 different meats and plenty of vegetables, roast potatoes etc. You could help yourself to all the various vegetables whilst the chef sorted out your helping of meat.

The dining room was very ornate with beautiful ceiling and cornices. Wonderful setting for a meal and the dining room held quite a lot of customers. Your drinks are from the bar for which the waitress takes your order at your table.

Would recommend this as a visit on Sunday but of course you can get a lunch or dinner during the week.

Better than expected

We arrived without a booking on Sunday for the carvery lunch. We had no trouble being given a nice table in the conservatory...

The menu was explained and we went straight for the carvery, a choice of four roasts and plentiful potatoes and veg...

The staff were friendly and helpul... we were sat with a fine view of Port Erin Bay. Overall a reasonably priced meal for a Sunday lunch.
