Surrounded by scenic coastland, we also have close by the South Barrule Forest. Consisting of 128 hectares, it  is one of the Island’s most popular woodlands for outdoor adventure, leisure activities and is a convenient gateway to neighbouring forests and hill land.

Popular with walkers, horse riders and families, the forest also features a number of purpose built mountain bike trails and a skills area where riders can hone their riding techniques.

Ape Mann Adventure park
Set in one of the Island's largest plantations, South Barrule, there are activities for all the family. ​Find your way through the rope courses, crawl through the sky barrels, take on the leap of faith, and whiz down the long zip-lines. The park's rope courses have been built using a continuous lifeline system, so no clipping on and off as you go around the activities, making it great fun for all ages. The adventure park also includes one of the UK's highest sets of Monkey tree climbing hardware which is a challenge for anybody with a head for heights. The park is suitable for both children and adults with plenty to do.

Segway Isle of Man
Segway Isle of Man provides Segway Safari tours inside some of the Islands beautiful forests. You will be rewarded with outstanding views and have more fun than you've ever had on two wheels standing up! Tours are also available in Castletown and on Douglas Promenade.
Ballahimmin Pony Trekking Centre
There is no better way to experience the spectacular Manx countryside, than on horseback. Situated amidst the beautiful Little London hills at Cronk-y-Voddy on the Isle of Man with fantastic off road trails into the beautiful Manx hills. Experience breathtaking views over land and sea from areas inaccessible by car as you take to the saddle of our wide selection of well schooled horses and ponies. Beginners to the more advanced all catered for! All treks supervised by experienced guides and full instructions and riding equipment provided.
Geocaching
Geocaching is a family friendly activity and a great way of seeing more of the great outdoors. The Isle of Man is an extremely attractive destination for geocaching due to its extensive countryside and rural location. The basic idea of geocaching, is that adventure seekers (equipped with GPS devices) hunt for containers that have been hidden by other geocachers. The GPS co-ordinates can be found on the official geocaching website, where you can also find information on how to get started. It's free to create an account so that you will be able to view the GPS co-ordinates of all the geocaches, including those hidden in the Isle of Man. Then put your walking boots on and start exploring!
Jurby Karting
The Isle of Man's Premier Karting Centre, located at Jurby Airfield in the north of the Island. We use the Manx National Kart Circuit for our Ultimate Karting experience. The circuit is a full racing kart circuit with over 1000 meters of adrenaline based fun! With an outrageously quick straight and hair pin bends you are guaranteed the drive of your life. A great venue for some excellent group fun.
Quad Bike Mania
Adventure off-road on a guided quad bike tour in our growing activity centre at South Barrule forest. Let of some steam and take to the saddle on four-wheels for a trek through our forest course. This off road tour is a fantastic way for groups, families and individuals to enjoy some freedom and exhilarating adventure while experiencing the beauty of the Island. Available to ages 16+. No previous experience is required and full instruction and tuition given by our friendly team. Teen/Adult day/night time tours are now running minimum age 12
Hot Rocks Climbing Wall
Complete beginners, seasoned outdoor climbers, bouldering geniuses or anything in between, visit Hot Rocks Climbing wall - the ultimate venue for climbing fun and development. Hot Rocks Climbing wall have over 2000 square feet of climbing wall, and 2000 resin moulded climbing holds. Routes are changed on a regular basis and will keep you continuously occupied whatever your level. Overhanging sections, vertical walls, traverses, bouldering caves, top roped climbing, lead climbing and fingerboards satisfy your climbing needs.
Laser Mayhem
Using nothing but the best military grade laser guns as used for real combat training by Royal Marine & Army Commando's. The Laser-Mayhem team kit you out in full camouflaged combat clothing, face paint and give you the choice of weapon, that are state of the art military grade laser guns fitted with real red dot laser sights that fire a harmless beam at an incredible 400m. They give you and your teammates a full mission brief and then let you loose to do a battle of wits, cunning and courage in our purpose built battlefield using many of our different and challenging scenarios. Supplying unlimited ammo, lives and unlimited orange squash throughout the day, they even have guest appearances on the battlefield of their very own Call of Duty Juggernaut. Laser-Mayhem is suitable for visitors aged six and over and prices range depending on the ages and amount of those taking part. They operate all year round including evenings, school holidays and weekends, so gather your soldiers and come and have some amazing fun in the forest.
