Top Bar - Residents' Lounge Bar
A relaxing bar with a good selection of international and local beers and a vast selection of malts.
The Falcon’s Nest Hotel on the south-west coast, overlooking the stunning crescent-shaped bay, is a free house with two bars. The residents’ lounge bar, also known as the Top Bar, and open to the public, is in the true tradition of the public house, where visitors can enjoy an ever-changing range of guests and local beers or one of over 60 varieties of malt whiskeys, whilst relaxing in front of an open fire.
The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Of our two bars, this is generally quieter, and features a conservatory area looking out over the bay where you can enjoy the magnificent views across the sea and to Milner’s Tower on Bradda Head.
Serving great food daily
Light meals and snacks are available in front of a cosy open fire, or to enjoy along with our sweeping conservatory views.
We also have a separate Restaurant area, and the hotel hosts a popular Sunday Carvery.
The Riddler under the Nest
Within the building we also have The Riddler under the Nest, our saloon bar, which hosts Live Music and has more of a sports bar feel.
Here there is a games area and multiple TV screens showing sports. Whilst the real ales are only available in the lounge area, beers can be taken through to the other section quite freely.
Live music is available Friday & Saturday nights and a Sunday afternoon in Trustrums – please check our Facebook page below.
The Riddler under the Nest opens at 6pm during the week.
